March 5th – @RichardBranson on Mike Oldfield 40th Anniversary of Tubular Bells. @virgin

Published by under Blog,daily,Video

Another great video which I didn’t get around to posting the other day. Due to a technical glitch (*ahem*), this is being posted today instead of yesterday.

Anyone that knows me will understand how influential Richard Branson is to me.

He recently posted a video, on how Mike Oldfield became the first artist on the Virgin label and whether, without Tubular Bells, would Virgin Galactic be taking people up into space this year?

It’s a really interesting video and the equally great man John Peel, is also mentioned.

February 19th – #BritAwards – #Bowie wins and so he should

DB_13878_thumb_580_326

Shocking to see so much manufactured rubbish in the Brits, so let’s just talk about the positive news, Mr David Bowie won Best Male Solo Artist. Last time he won anything at the Brits was in 1996. That just sums up what a joke they are…

Anyway…here is some Bowie or maybe I should call it education 🙂 Great Videos 🙂

February 16th – Video of waterspout landfall from 2011 – #waterspout #storm

Published by under Blog,daily,Tornado,Video,waterspout

This water spout formed over the waters off of Carolina Beach, North Carolina on August 18th, 2011. The person filming was literally 50 yards away but as you can see, some were a lot closer.

At 5:30, the waterspout is about to come ashore…then you see how small but powerful these things can be. It’s a great bit of footage.
