What a fantastic result! Local matches can always go either way but i think this was one of the first times in a long time that i thought Villa would beat Blues but i was expecting such an easy win. Birmingham have played bad most of the season and they looked terrible.

I was a very happy man all afternoon and will be chosing some nice pictures of the match to send to a few blue nose friends.

I’m doing some kind of set at the new Strax night - unsure what i will actually play but thats quite normal for me. Should be a good night as it combines the wonders of visuals with audio - the whole AV experience!

Ok i know i’m gonna get some stick for this but i have to post this! Not only do i love messing around on Lord of the Rings Online which gives me a good geek score but now they are introducing fishing into the game! WTF! i hear you say! Yes i love fishing and there is something special about fishing in virtual worlds especially if its not quite as it should be.

I used to play Ultima Online around 4 years ago and fishing was a skill in that game. You developed your character and ended up fishing up a message in a bottle which when decrypted (another skill) you had yourself a treasure map. Off you went in a boat (yes you could buy boats) and there you fished at the location until some evil baddies (boooo!) appeared. A few sparks of magic, a swing of the sword and all was clear. Fishing continued until you fished up rare items (paintings etc) and then finally up came the chest full of goodies! It was like Christmas ! well not quite

I have only to wait until the end of this month and then i will have my maggot in the water once more! Not too sure how its going to work but who cares.

I’ve uploaded the video to “Belfast” to Youtube. Not many people realise that the video was originally made for “Omen” but ended up being used for “Belfast” instead. If you look carefully you will see the Omen cover hand appearing! I bet the trainspotters are foaming at the mouths now….

He has a bad season and has come under a lot of flack for Villa but the goal he scored on Saturday against Derby County was a corker! Stiliyan belted the ball from just inside the Derby half over the top of Carroll. 50 yards and into the back of the net!

I saw bits of the London Marathon and i think its time for me to take the challenge! I’m not getting any younger and i can confirm my knees are complaining everytime i play football. So the plan is to complete the Sutton 9 mile in June (i think), then the half marathon in Brum later in the year and then London Marathon next year. Cancer Research will be the charity!

Just read that Mark Speight has been found dead. Its a terrible ending to a tragic story. It’s not often i feel sad about celebrity deaths but having watched many many episodes of Smarteenies with my growing daughter, i always remember how he was one of the few that entertained ME let alone the little un!
