We did something similar on the original Loopz website and it was a bit too much detailed for my liking. Ended up being a long hard piece of work collecting the photos, setlists, audio and video etc.
We wanted to try this again but keep it simple. The object of the project is, to detail all the gigs from day one and there will naturally a lot of gaps. Could you please help fill the gaps and we will make sure you get a shoutout, on the page for your contribution.
We have a dedicated page to keep things in order, so click here to view – Orbital Live Gigs Project

Mathew Horne has pulled it out of the bag this month and has booked electronic music royalty in the shape of Orbital to top the night behind the decks!! Alongside sets from Mathew and the Session residents, expect some roof-raising live sets featuring F.O.X who are fresh from supporting Depeche Mode on tour.
Danish writer/director Nicolas Winding Refn achieved global screen fame for his indie hit Drive. Pusher is the British remake of his debut 1996 film which became a cult hit across Europe. Orbital were brought onboard to provide the score, which will be released on 8th October 2012.
“Working on Pusher was a great opportunity to create a score that draws on both moody thriller styles and dance music in equal measures. Full of anthemic film noir moments. Brilliant.” – Paul Hartnoll

Orbital played their track ‘Where Is It Going’ on top of a large podium with theoretical physicist Professor Stephen Hawking sat in front of them. Yes, he even wore their trademark torch specs!
The hundreds of dancers in the stadium re-enacted the Large Hadron Collider while Stephen Hawking explained the workings of the collider.
