Why did you choose this track(s) to remix ?

These tracks are definately among my favourites. The spoken vocals from 'Are we here' were easy to incorporate and sounded especially effective with stereo echo. The sci-fi effect from 'Planet of the Shapes' and the angelic ‘Satan’ intro ‘pad’ also pop up in the remix.
   
Why did you enter this competition ?

I have been waiting for a song competition to come up since I have discovered music-making. I couldn't believe my luck when I found out I was allowed to remix Orbital's songs and I didn't want to miss the opportunity.
   
Who are your musical influences ?

Orbital, Underworld, Leftfield, Prodigy, Chem. Bros...
   
Musical equipment/software used ?

PC 486, Fasttracker 2.08, Yamaha CS1x synthesiser (used a little)

   
If you had to listen to one Orbital track every day...what would it be and why ?

Halcyon & on & on because this was the first Orbital song I had ever heard (on the Hackers soundtrack). It just has THE perfect chords, harmony and a rhythm to die for.
