Yet another excuse to have fun, mess around with music, and share musical creativity with the online community.

This was our first project with Sonic Foundy's ACiD. I'd have to say that this program is GREAT for loop-based music creation. We used Rhythm Brainz to program drums, and used drum samples from our Roland MC505. We than sampled our 505 into wavelab, created the loop, and placed it into ACiD. Sometimes we would cut up the drums in wavelab, and do our sequencing of samples in Cubase VST, which then we rendered into a wav for use with ACiD. We added an additional flute by using a good flute sample off of our Roland JV1080 Session Expansion. This mix runs all the way through at 162bpm. Other equipment: Mackie 1604 VLZ, Roland A90ex, Moog Multimoog, Roland Juno 106, Alesis Midiverb 4, Audiotracks Compresser//Noise/Gate Plugin, and Quake (for brake time!).
