I have a soft spot in my heart for any song with leftist political leanings. (Can you tell I'm a Consolidated fan?) The power of the vocals combined with the sweet beats really gets to me.. The final mix I did, "Snivil Disobedience," uses samples from all over "Snivilisation." I did it as a fun experiment in recombinations and reprocessing (especially the opening samples of "Are We Here?")

Hell, why not? I love Orbital and I think remixing tracks is a great way to show homage. I was told I did okay in a SPIN Online Orbital remix contest that happened right after "Snivilisation" was released (the official results, so far as I know, were never made public). And I took third in a Prodigy remix contest after "Music for the Jilted Generation," so I figured it was worth a shot.

All my music is made on a PowerMac 6100/60 using MacroMedia's SoundEdit 16. All sounds sampled at 16 bits, 44 kHz. Cut & paste: It's all about cut & paste.
