I wanted to use just one basic, familiar orbital loop and take it in a new direction. "Forever" offered the best opportunity to do this with its core loop. It's also one of my absolute favorite tracks.

I've been playing around with different types of remixing on my P.C. for a couple of years now. After checking out last year's competion on-line, I decided to have a go at it.

Orbital, Orb, King Crimson, Peter Gabriel, Beastie Boys, Medeski Martin & Wood, assorted Acid Jazz... most of my remixes are influenced by a bit of each.

The Girl With The Sun in Her Head - I *do* almost listen to this every day. Well, not so much anymore, I guess. No other artist balances serenity and anger as effectively as Orbital. "The Girl" is inspiring in this regard.
