Just
been two days ago to the Orbital gig in Paris (14/04), I must say
as it was my birthday that it was a great birthday present I couldn't
dream of.
It was really good. The "Middle of Nowhere" tracks sounded much
better than the album (well, this is my feeling). Satan was one
of the best mixed with Spawn movie version with Tom Morello (I think).
Very powerful.
The version of The Box they played was very interesting as they
added a big beat and rythm. You could really dance on it.
We also had for our viewing and hearing pleasure the "classics":
Impact, Lush, Chimes and Halcyon.
Anyway, the general opinion seems to be a bit disappointed for the
lack of Out there somewhere and The Girl with the Sun in her Head,
and also because there were no guest (wanted to see Plaid!). This
had for result a "cold" audience and everybody was pretty still
until half an hour or so.
In conclusion, this was a very very good gig. I still have the sounds
running in my head!
