Why did you choose to remix this track and explain your direction: I simply liked the subtlety of the track. It started out fairly ambient, and grew in structure, etc... It did a lot of things I liked, but I chose no particular direction when I undertook to remix it, for, of course, I didn't wanted to make something better [laugh!] or worse than the original, but instead a deviation, a reinterpretation. I took the bassline as is and sampled a few more things, which I mostly added heavy, airy effects to.

I guess I have vague principles which I sought to fulfill to thank for the influence here. I don't listen to too much new music, Orbital aside, and I am not sure I can claim any particular source, 'unmix the eggs' as it were. But in conscious influnce, I hold Orbital in the highest regard, so there was obviously some reverse engineering there.

Far too many to list. The other track I remixed was made during a distinct "Girl with the Sun in Her Head" period, but I really enjoy everything from Kein Trink Wasser to Way Out->.
