Fantastic Four - It was ok but suffered again with too much romance and not enough good old super hero action! great effects of course.

The Eric Serra score is superb too.
Uh... are you joking? I have to admit, I never watched it because I heard it was pure excrement. The 2.8 average rating on IMDB.com (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0246894/) supports these claims...

On a positive note, I watched Batman Begins tonight, and thought it was fantastic. Very well done.
No, I was deadly serious about 'Rollerball'.

I saw Fantastic Four this weekend, and thought it was really bad. I think you might enjoy it more if you've never read the comic book and don't know how badly they messed up some of the characters (especially Dr. Doom).

The special effects weren't very good either, far from it. The stretching effect of Reed was particularly bad, the CGI didn't blend with the background at all.

The respective actors nailed the Human Torch and the Thing, but again their characters were let down by the special effects.

Some people don't get the Transformers. It's simple. They're big robots. And they change into things. And they fight. This is beautiful and mad. If you do not get this, there is something missing in your soul. - Paul O'Brien

Once Upon A Time In The West. was on telly just now :)

what an ace film. henry fonda playing the bad guy for once, mutherfuckin' charlie bronson as the mysterious harmonica man, jason robards as the framed up gang leader and the stunningly beautiful claudia cardinale as the widow looking for justice. epic film, epic music, epic acting and an epic story. All to be expected when you have a cast like that and Sergio Leone in the directors chair and Ennio Morricone doing the music.

I should really upgrade my crap VHS copy to the deluxe super dooper double DVD.

I saw it at glastonbury 1999 on the open air cinema. it was either after the double bill of underworld/orbital or the day after, post-System 7. either way, i was utterly mashed and enjoyed every minute of it.

I loved Napoleon Dynamite.
I found it one of those films that the more I watched it the more I enjoyed it.
I loved the characters and the dodgy 80's fashion.
Great. Best dance sequence in a film IMO.

Yeah, I was disappointed by Napoleon Dynamite as well.

But the dance bit *was* good :)
