Sorry SSSSS (if that IS your name) that comment wasn't particularly directed at you, even though I quoted you. I just have a problem with people buying up loads of tickets and selling them at a profit to people who, for whatever reason, didn't get in in time themselves.SSSSS wrote:No one said anything about touts not being scumbags.
Slugs! HE created slugs! They can't hear. They can't speak. They can't operate machinery. Are we not in the hands of a lunatic?

Dave - no worries mate. Takes more than that to offend.
I concede - I do agree, its not very sportsman like, but its life I guess. People will always try to make a quick buck however they can. Unless tickets are sold in the way that say world cup tickets are now sold, i.e. you have to supply your passport number which is printed on the ticket then its going to be difficult to get around this - especially for such low cost tickets - it just aint worth the hassle for the promoters.
Anyway - give it a few months, maybe the week before the gig and youll find a couple of tickets from me on ebay going for a grand.
Cheers
Steve
