The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

This isn't really a release of new stuff but a "best of" selection of the Analord series he put out last year, this is the tracklisting:
01 Fenix Funk 5
02 Reunion 2
03 Pitcard
04 Crying In Your Face
05 Klopjob
06 Boxing Day
07 Batine Acid
08 Cilonen
09 PWSteal.Ldpinch.D
10 XMD5A
Highly recommended for those who missed out on the original series
BTW: It's rumoured that the Analord set sold about 100,000 copies. At £40 (or so) per set means they pocketed £4 Million at Rephlex! No wonder tracks on those last discs was given "virus" names to scare of downloaders

I knew about the Analord series. (Never got round to getting them, knowing my luck they'll bring them all out on cd just when i've bought them all on vinyl!!!)

I heard it was 5 figures per release, so that's 10,000-99,000 per release?
I do know that the full-set (with binder) goes for a fortune on ebay - wish that I'd bought two copies of the binder!

The news I saw about the release of "Chosen Lords" mentioned that it had sold 100,000 copies on vinyl. I think maybe that refered to single vinyl copies and not full sets, in other words that around 10,000 set binders has been sold? £400K is still a bit of dosh! Good for Rephlex, they deserve every penny of it

"You know, just simple lines intertwining, you know, very much like - I'm really influenced by Mozart and Bach, and it's sort of in between those, really. It's like a Mach piece, really"

Wait for the CD, I say, or be a good pirate.
Ah, but the CD is a compilation of tracks, it doesn't have all of them on it!
Personally, I bought them all at the time (including the binder) - I don't mind doing this for an independent label such as Rephlex, especially with some of the up & coming projects they're planning in the next year or so!
