Spooky - New Album & EP's

Post by shadyboy »

"The next single will be New Light and the release date set for that is May 14th.

We have a provisional release date of May 28th for the new album Open which is a double album.

CD 1 contains 9 songs including a new version of Belong and the other singles Strange Addiction and No Return.

CD 2 contains 11 tracks made up of ambient and dub mixes of the songs as well as a couple of new compositions.

There will be one final single taken from Open called Shelter which will be released at the end of June with mixes – we will be getting a guest to do a mix on this one.

In September we will be releasing an EP of 4 new club tracks inspired by and created for our live sets."

Quality - can't wait for the album.

Unfortunately the album is nothing like Found Sound, or even Gargantuan for that matter.
It's very commercial and song based - think of a Zero 7 vibe on the first disc, and while the second disc is dub/ambient it doesn't go into experimental territory. It's all very "safe" and Radio 2 if that makes sense.

A massive dissappointment I'm afraid..... :(
