It's a bit special that... Concorde should still be flying! The American aircraft industry never liked it, because they didn't have anything like it and they were jealous...

Boeing tried, they just couldn't get it to not fall apart... Concorde did eventually start to make money, as it spent less time in the air, it required less maintenance, so was able to fly for longer periods...

The dream of Concorde died when it crashed in France sadly.

I heard BA will never recommission Concorde as it cost 1 million just to bleed the hydraulic lines on each plane alone

Seemingly when it was first launched, BA didn't know what to charge for a seat, so they sent around a questionnaire to some businessmen as to what they would expect to be charged. the price that came back was up to five times what BA had expected and thus, understandably, that is what they charged. It was only sometime later that they found out that most of the questionnaires had been filled out, not by the businessmen, but by their secretaries.
