The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.
Saw him last night at the Royal Albert Hall & apart from mentioning the best sound I have heard to date, great guests, a real 'group' feeling & the expected fantastic performance of Comfortably Numb; I just have to whoop whoop whoop about one thing.......
"ECHOES" played in full!!!!!!
'kin brilliant.
Of all the possible times to have lived in, I'll settle for this one for three reasons.
1) The existence of Concorde
2) Having been able to drive an F1 car
3) Having been able to see & hear David Gilmour
It's a hard call between them, but Gilmour last night just tipped it!
Let's face it, if I didn't exist - you'd pay someone to have me invented.
Yeah, was a great show. Echoes made it all worthwhile - sounded fantastic. Great to hear Arnold Layne too, and the jazzy version of Dominoes came across really well. Even his new album sounded good played live! Wish I'd been there on Monday though, when David Bowie sang Comfortably Numb and Arnold Layne.
Got Roger Waters live in a few weeks too.

Please please please somebody tell me that he going to play here. (any one with info please pm me). If he is playing Echoes live that is as big a deal as Robert Plant playing Stairway to Heaven coz I heard that he hated it.
