APHEX TWIN - "CHOSEN LORDS" - COMING APRIL!!!!!!!!

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

lmao @ stargurl! :D

It's Anthony Bullock's <- that's suggestive, methinks. ;)

Usernick: I know the CD's pretty limited, but frankly there was plenty of wank on the LP's.

The only shame is that Chosen Lords might have some wank on it still...

Oh well, RDJ can still drop a few good tunes, and I'm sure I'll be buying this.

Yeah thats basically what i was saying as well but you said it more style  . If it didnt have the AFX name attached to it then not many people would have even given it a 2nd glance. He can get away with dishing out what he wants because its AFX :)

Agreed - a lot of it sounded like he was just knocking out tunes using the 303 & 909 patches on Reason.

If he was a real pro, he'd have used Rebirth ;) Much better emulation.

I've got to say, I need to go through the tracklisting for 'Chosen Lords' and see which ones have been put onto the album. If they're the ones I like, I'll buy it, only to have them in CD quality.

For the most part I enjoyed the batch of new tunes from AFX last year. There were some tracks that could have been left of unreleased but there were also some pretty good ones to be found. I particularly like "Pitcard", it's got a very nice Orbital-esque vibe to it :)

I thought that track "Crying In Your Face" was pretty cool. "Reunion 2" was catchy also.

I had a listen to a few of the acidy things that he's made over the last year or two and they've all been utter shit.
