Cinephile Dj Set

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Cinephile Dj Set

We don't do DJ sets very often, so this is a bit special....

Friend, DJ, and electronic experimentalist Mr Steve Price of Loopz (the Official Orbital website) recently asked us if we would like to take part in his new Loopz show on WXND Radio by doing an hour long Cinephile DJ set. Steve has supported us and our music for a long time, and he's always offered help whenever possible, allowing us to use the Loopz forums to promote our music and playing many of our tracks on the gone but not forgotten Loopz Net Radio. His work is consistently excellent, so we were more than happy to accept.

You can hear our exclusive DJ set this Saturday coming on the North American stations WXDN (107.3FM) or WXGR (101.5FM). Those of you who are outside the US, or anyone who doesn't have a radio can tune in to the internet stream putting the following address into the URL section of your player:

http://www.wxgr.org:8000

The Loopz show broadcast times are as follows:

Saturday 22nd October 2am-4am EST
Saturday 22nd October 7am-9am UK

And is repeated:

Sunday 23rd October 6pm-8pm EST
Sunday 23rd October UK 11pm-1am UK

Enjoy.

Cinephile.
Dought if I'll be up at 7 but intend to listen on Sunday night!

I recomend that anyone with an interest in music should listen to Cinephile. They make gorgeous music.
