I'm sure in the past people have been able to salvage old threads from the old forum by using some website or other... loopz?
did i just dream it or can it actually be done?

Well Loopz still has the link to the ezboard one ( http://p217.ezboard.com/bloopzofficialorbitalwebsite ) up, which you've probably noticed, but if you want even older posts, you can always try the wayback machine: http://www.archive.org/
