Beelzebeat

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Beelzebeat

Post by Orbitalhound »

Does anyone know if Orbital has ever performed Beelzebeat live? It appears to be on of a few songs that have not been played live. If it has--what songs have never been played live besides remixes of course?

ACID PANTS
Slugs! HE created slugs! They can't hear. They can't speak. They can't operate machinery. Are we not in the hands of a lunatic?

Omen, Desert Storm, The Tranquiliser. Are those correct as well?

I'm sure they've played 'Omen' live... Christ, I've seen so many gigs, I can't remember everything they've played and that was only 25....

Lack of a "Search" function here, so if this has been asked before, I apologise...

Can anyone help me with this quandry - I know the vocals on this track are a sample, but I can not place my finger on where they are from, and it driving me crazy!! Please help lay my mind to rest, if you can! :D

Thanks in advance!

D'oh! Missed that

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure I figured where I know that from - it's in a surfing movie, "Step Into Liquid". It's part of a song used in one of the scenes. Time to fire up that movie again and find it! :D

Wished they had played Pants last year.
Also I would've loved to have heard Beezlebeat live as well.
I vaguely remember someone shouting for it at the Peel session in 2001.
I think it was either Sid or Mek Quake.
Cant believe that was nearly 5 years ago now.
You look real great.

Pants would have been good.
Tunnel vision would have been better.

I never got to hear Dwr Budr live.
Or Kein trink wasser either.

Short sentences.

I'm pissed off about that

I'm bloody glad it was You Lot and OPS they decided to play live.

I would have been a bit gutted if they had substituted one of the above for shitty Acid Pants.

Just my opinion though
I don't know you people...why are you here?

Yeah, probably me (back then when I was Mek Quake). I like Beelzebeat.

They never played Quality Seconds live either, miserable b***ards. :(
You'll find me by the speakers.
