Unreleased Orbital Tracks

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Didn't Badger do an interview with Paul round about the "Blue" release and he mentioned that there would be a possibility of an album of unreleased tracks in the future?

Not the queen elizabeth gig. It was going to be at Mass in Brixton (if my memory serves me right). I have got the radio one interview about the crash somewhere on the site (or i thought i had). I will try and find it if its not online.

You never know, sometimes these things surface many years later. Then again they will most likely fade away.

Orbital have split up, why go to all the bother of digging out a few tapes etc. from an attic, haggling for a record deal, going to all the expense of pressing it all up and releasing it for what is probably a load of tunes that Phil & Paul thought weren't good enough to go on a release anyway...

Mind you, a full version of the mental dual 303 track from 'The Shape of Things That Hum' would be nice, but it'll never happen.

Be real, live in the now ;)
