Anyone heard the BoC fake ?
The supposed leak of "Campfire Headphase" better be fake as its just a terrible terrible album. Its probably the worse fake i've ever heard. Its on soulseek of course.

...in your opinion obviously.
When you say fake.. do you mean that some schmo has decided to masquarade his/her talent (or lack of) under the guise of BOC or is it something the record companies do to put the scent off the definate article?
Seems an odd thing to do. The originator wont get any credit for it if they are trying to get their work out there.
Going home in T minus 1 minute. SLSK will be booted up.
Right...

Its very common for people to do this. why i dont know - its not my doing. The last two Autechre albums were faked more than once on Soulseek.
I will listen to your opinion when you have listened to it and then say "in your opinion" as well
There is a nice couple of threads elsewhere about it. There is no one being positive about it

It's 106 miles to Chicago.
We got a full tank of gas,
half a pack of cigarettes.
It's dark and we are wearing sunglasses

Chromakey Dreamcoat is correct. As usual NME have got it wrong and they are also late (WARP listed the tracklisting on the 11th). I hate the NME and this just backs up why
2nd "fake" leak was just a collection of more-obscure BoC tracks. I suspect that was the fake rabbit to knock the foxes off the scent

Likewise, I resolve never to buy the paper anymore - used to back in the '80's/'90's, but they've taken a nosedive in quality/content since I used to read it...Loopz wrote:Chromakey Dreamcoat is correct. Agree re NME. It seems to pander to the txt msg generation with lists, 'album reviews' consisting of two sentences (unless the band happens to be an NME flavour of the month) and gossip as opposed to real news.
Not like the old days with in-depth interviews and reviews by quality journos such as Charles Shaar Murray, Nick Kent and Paul Morley.
I still like doing the crossword though - well 'ard.
