Nah Stiflers dance scene in American Wedding takes some beating as the best dance sequence in a film...
"You know, just simple lines intertwining, you know, very much like - I'm really influenced by Mozart and Bach, and it's sort of in between those, really. It's like a Mach piece, really"
Nigel Tufnel talking about his song "Lick My Love Pump" - This Is Spinal Tap.
saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory today. Depp was fantastic in it and i loved Mr Burtons visual imagination. I still prefer the original but the remake is just as worthy.
Saw three films over the weekend...and a whole lot of Trailer Park Boys!
Life Aquatic with Steve Zissol - very good...love the quirky soundtrack.
War of the Worlds - Jeeeesus that was intense stuff....my neck ached by the time i came out of the cinema from being tensed up the whole time....great effects and the sound....wow....cant wait to get that one on dvd and annoy the neighbours with the 5.1 turned up!!!!

I watched "hackers" yesterday, it's interpretation of what goes on on the computer screen whilst your computer is being hacked was daffy. Music was good though.
Watched the brilliant (plus brilliantly scored) Clockwork Orange for the first time and after that Silence of The Lambs and Hannibal in a row.
With the latter two, the first one does a good job bringing the book on screen, but the second takes way too many liberties, which makes it much inferior to the novel. I think Julianne Moore does as good of a job as Clarice Starling as Jodie Foster, though. Possibly even better.
