Even More Nostalgia

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

1st Single: I bought my first single as late as after the change of the millenium (can't remember what year though), because we don't really have quality singles in the nearest CD-shop that I usually use and it was only in the Athens Airport in Greece from where I first found some. It was either Keep Hope Alive by the Crystal Method, Badder Badder Schwing by Freddie Fresh and Fatboy Slim, Funny Break (by some band called Orbital or something) or Charlies Angels 2000 by Apollo 440. Sorry, I have bad memory. :)

1st Album: First album I ever got was The Mission by Captain Jack, but I got it for xmas, so I didn't really purchase it. First one I purchased was possibly Lucky Dance 2 (a dance compilation with everything from Prodigy to DJ Dado or from Faithless to Ace of Base :P ). I'm not sure if I paid myself for that either though, so it could be Scooters No Time to Chill or Life Goes on by Sash! :P

Damn my memory sucks. :)

single: oh, might've been as late as Funny Break or some Chemical Brothers single.

album:  ... The Mission ... By Captain Jack. Although that was a Christmas present. My first PURCHASE might actually have been "Magic Affair: Omen III". Now there's a classic. http://swisscharts.com/showitem.asp?int ... nues&cat=a
