What Are You Listening To Now?

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Orbital - Spare Parts Express

I'm amazed how good Middle Of Nowhere really is. It is the Orbital album I played the least. Dunno how that happened. Funny how six years later MoN suddenly manages to grab me after all.

Not that I disliked MoN, but I liked it much less than their other work. Maybe in six years time I will really like the Blue album

Now listening to: The Sound Of Ventilators - My PC (released in 2002 on the Low Budget label)

Pet Shop Boys - Battleship Potemkin Promo
Very nice - lush orchestrations and some cracking electronica.

Ed209 Vs Long Range - Dr. Hoover :)

One thing that makes me love this so much, is that it's about time people started incorporating more melody into breaks, and this certainly does.

Madness - I Chase The Devil AKA Ironshirt

(a ska cover of the original song that The Prodigy sampled for "Out Of Space")

Not bad - apparently the recent Madness ska covers album is worth a purchase! :)
