What Are You Listening To Now?

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Listening to Soul Mekanik-robots 3 :D
Cant say I'm impressed with the new Goldfrapp single.
Probably cos I cant stand "Spirit in the Sky", sexy Ali also seems to sing a lot of the tune with the same melody as aformentioned crap tune.

Although I have heard very good things about the album, sounds like they are sticking to the "Black Cherry" formula which is absolutely fine and dandy by me.

Now playing in the car: Soundgarden: Badmotorfinger.... Jesus Christ Pose.

Ah I feel young and hairy again
Very disappointed with the Goldfrapp single.Since EMI took over Mute last year they've been very excited about the prospective $$$ a new Goldfrapp album will make for them no doubt accounting for the watering down of yet another quality artist.I'm sure it'll be a TopShop favourite over the next few months.

Listening to the Dream Academy 'the love parade'.

just got to the end of: horace andy - dub box (rare dubs 73-76)
as part of my current educational venture into reggae & dub. i like it. there's a tune on here that probably juuust about qualifies as a version of "angel" that he did with massive attack... in that it's got about 3 lines of the lyrics.

well, makes sense, because Angel is basically a rework of an older horace andy track :D

I can hear Feargal Sharkey's 'A Good Heart' on the radio in the distance, but I'm about to listen to Princess Superstar's new album instead.

I am beginning to think you are a little addicted to all things Pink Floyd... :)

I listened to/watched my copy of Dark Side of the Rainbow last night when i got in...great stuff... :)

Currently listening to Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine...with out doubt the best NiN album IMHO...

Orbital - Belfast
Lamb - Gorecki
Autechre - Eggshell

I could use another round of music.
