You're a Star: Orbital'ish

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

You're a Star: Orbital'ish

Post by bliss »

Thought I would post this one up as it is Orbital inspired.

This one is going to be the intro track on my album, if I ever get it finished It's been sat on my hard drive for a year now as a long ambient intro.

Most of the parts were done including most of the beats, I just needed to sort out the last half of the track. It's almost done. I think I need to introduce one more part in the intro section at around 2:05 and then bring it back in towards the end. Plus the bass dominates a little!

Your a Star - 10mb 192k mp3 file.

The name of the track comes from one of the chopped up vocal parts in the track.

All feedback and ideas welcome :)

Nice... takes a little while to get going but I suppose that's how it's supposed to be.

I think the spelling should be "You're" by the way...

Also, how the frock did you get your music on iTunes etc. and onto the Matrix DVD??
