It's a bit cloudy now, but the sun is breaking trough again.
It's 106 miles to Chicago.
We got a full tank of gas,
half a pack of cigarettes.
It's dark and we are wearing sunglasses
Not a chance of Loopz/Stargurl/Kagey ever getting washed away. We normally camp on the big ground hill way up from the pyramid stage. Veterans of glasto know where to camp
Poor people, veteran or not, this does a lot to your mood as a festival goer. No grassy spots left to lay down on with a cool pint outside a tent playing good music chilling out to some band playing.
Rain and thunderstorms like this hit Roskilde last year too and it turned some camping areas into lakes like those at Glastonbury.
Wasn't too bad aside from the hours of insane rain Friday morning and the lakes around the site... our camp on the hill was fine aside from a few tent leaks.

ah the weather didn't slow us down for a minute i actually took advantage of the rain as a free shower
yeah was a shame not to be able to do more lying-on-grass-drinking-in-the-sunshine, but doing just that for jools holland on sunday helped make up for it.
while on the subject... pear cider - that stuff's absolutely amazing! tasty, really easy to drink, damn strong, and gets you a really happy fluffy lovely fun dancey drunk. best booze ever?
