The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.
well... I only had empty the bones of you till now,... but last week I got ceramics is the bomb and clarence park... and I must say this guy is amazing... I dont see people talking about him in idm forums... but as I know there are lots of autechre and aphex fans here I wanted to know your opinion about him
my fav is the ep (ceramics...)
architecture is nothing but sex between light and space
Yeah, I agree, he's fantastic My favorite is Clarence Park. It was awesome when he did that competition a while ago (what was it? Tell a joke so funny it makes laugh until he vomits? Something involving telling the funniest jokes.)
Love him to bits. Saw him live 3 times (as he lives where i live) and each time was unique. He is still the only artist that made me feel physically sick during one of his gigs! He deserves a medal Looking forward to seeing him at Glastonbury and another local gig this year. Go see him live

Err Mr Loopz... feeling sick is normally something that people try to avoid.
On a more serious note; what was it about the set that made you wanna hurl? Bottom end perhaps?
*unrelated anecdote*
I remember watchin Leftfield at London Arena NYE (was it 97,98 or 99?) and feeling like someone had given me an enema due to the seriously low end... I couldn't sit down for a while I'll tell ya
The other standout gig was Jesus Jones (can't remember when?? early 90's). Corr they had some serious bass too, I remember my knees independantly vibrating to "Trust Me"
I don't know you people...why are you here? MEMS MUZAK

i read that on their first tour they got barred for life from the ministry of sound, 'cos the plaster started coming off the ceiling...
I've seen him twice and he's given me a headache twice. I've always loved 'spinning spines' though, and I'm sure my arm will be twisted to get another headache this glastonbury
