Chime Live at Glasto 94 on Q magazine CD

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Chime Live at Glasto 94 on Q magazine CD

Post by memly »

Just got my copy of Q and was pleased to see the cover Cd "Glastonbury Jukebox" has 7 minutes worth of bliss on it.

Apparently the cd was compiled by the man Eavis himself.

Who's it by?
Slugs! HE created slugs! They can't hear. They can't speak. They can't operate machinery. Are we not in the hands of a lunatic?

Oh yes, my first ever Glasto, 1957. Mind you, it was a drive-in cinema at the time.

I believe it was 56, if you can remember that far back Dave.

Link Wray, Big Bopper and REM were the headliners.

Interspersed with a THX remastered version of "Gone with the Wind" and a screening of "The Third Man" complete with directors commentary and outtakes.

Fay Wray (King Kong), Little Richard & REM, I think you'll find.

Sorry Dave, your right. I always get the Big Bopper mixed up with Little Richard, they looked so similar.

You sure it was Faye Wray? You know I reckon it was Doris Day.

Is this exactly the same version as on the Glasto CD that the NME gave a few years back?
