Got tickets and went - but was turned away at 11.30am with 30 others outside because the venue was full. Infuriating and a total waste of time. The beeb say they issue TOO many tickets because normally some people don't turn up. Triffic. Only this time they did. Sure, the tickets did state there was no guarantee of entry. But one guy had come from Manchester and paid £200 in train and taxi fares to make it there for 11.45am. What a joke.

That idiot would be me. I knew it'd be trouble when I couldn't travel down the night before as intended, "But come on!" - I thought - "Let's follow Danny Wallace and be a YES MAN!"
So I paid the £148 SINGLE ticket to London...
And I couldn't get in.

Inimitable - 'incapable of being imitated or copied; surpassing imitation; matchless.'
Hmmm...I may have gone overboard a touch!
Yes I always seem to have been the only one who can't quote. I'm not sure I can do italics either. Lets [i]try[/i].

Yep, can't use italics or most probably smileys either.

Sounds like your setup tbh mate. No one else is experiencing these issues. Can you try a different browser as a test ? Just curious to know where the problem is.

Do you have "Disable BBCode" ticked under the Options tab? (Underneath the Submit/Preview/Save buttons when replying)

AHA!TheEmbryo wrote:Do you have "Disable BBCode" ticked under the Options tab? (Underneath the Submit/Preview/Save buttons when replying)
Now why the fudge is that the default?
If I go to reply to another topic it switches back to 'disable'. The little run down of options under the smileys list on the right hand side of the reply box says BBCode is ON - even when it's OFF!
