Re: Did anyone get the PIL/Orbital (DJ set) for the Record S
I notice on the Record Store Day website, there's a ltd. edition 7" of 'Wonky' listed? So, presumably this is 'Wonky' as a single? Anyone got any idea if there are any other tracks on there? Hoping the DJ version will get an official release.

How do you go about getting one of these 7"s then?

From what I understand you have to go to a participating store on the day itself: http://www.recordstoreday.co.uk/partici ... tores.aspx
Might be a bit difficult for you though...

I'll try my best - queues tend to form outside the record shops from 5am, and by the time the shop opens, most of the decent stock has disappeared... (at least that's what happened to me last year)Badger wrote:ARSE! It's 3 days after I leave.

Yup, was at said gig on Monday - PiL were excellent (despite John Lydon having the flu!), and Orbital seemed to be really enjoying themselves - hands in the air whilst playing album tracks (Wonky was slightly different - it featured some of Lady Lushar's vocals but it was mainly an instrumental) plus Halcyon (live mix), Are We Here? (with a different vocal bit in the mix), and finished with Chime (which is when I left - the crowd seemed to go mental at that point)!

Yup, Wonky 7" is definitely out on Record Store Day - it was listed in the Information Pack I received on the day. There's also a Ulrich Schnauss/Mark Peters 12" single being released... If you're a Cure fan, get saving as they're releasing a number of their albums on coloured vinyl...
