Glastonbury Lineup

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Oh I didn't even notice that.
I saw him do a live set a couple years back in Detroit, he nearly did my head in! It was awesome.

Sad to see Carl Cox gone (but when does he ever show up for things, really?) but lots of nice additions that I'm looking forward to. I'd start naming names but it would go on forever! :D

And it's all so SOON!

I just found out Carl Cox will be doing the Essential Mix that weekend, so I suppose we're set for him as well!

Anyone still need a ticket?

Be quick though! 8)

I'd love to go, but I really can't afford the time off/expense invloved, especially with the Big Chill/Turin/etc...

Slugs! HE created slugs! They can't hear. They can't speak. They can't operate machinery. Are we not in the hands of a lunatic?

haven't been near a computer for hours, but always nice to see someone sharing the love. you posted this pretty much the same time i got a text from a mate saying he'd just bought a ticket for another mate of ours, and have since been told that another couple are coming too. fuck, that completes the set, everyone's a winner :D

I know :) It's an easy stop when there's a car involved! I was just hoping they'd come up with somewhere better this year.

I already posted on a Canadian message board warning the other board members who are going that picking up their tickets may be tricky if they're relying solely on public transport. I really wish they'd just mail overseas tickets, it would make things much easier, but I recognize that mailing tickets would introduce other problems as well.

But like you said, no worries eh ;)

Funky... "Ian Brown"??
Do you really think his live performances are upto scratch??
I admit Solarize is a good album. The guy sucks big time live tho, he was on before Orbital at V99, jesus that was bad.
I also got to see him Roses era too, luckily the sound engineers tu
rned his vocals way down in the mix

Ahh yes v99! He was awful. "GRAB THE STARS"

basement jaxx i'll definitely consider, haven't seen them live before. primals i enjoyed when i saw them oooh 5 years ago, but i'm not so fussed, especially if they're clashing with the freestylers.

also just discovered quantic soul orchestra (how many times have i mentioned them on this board? ) are now playing the east coast tent on the sunday, i swear they weren't there before... bo :D
