The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.
Hello guys, I've been following this thread now and then for about a year now, mainly to see what's new. I'm a producer of chillout electronic music and also a big fan of Ulrich. I was really honoured when my own myspace page got mentioned here and schnuu commented: "Has Ulrich Schnauss got a new alias?" and "Is 'All the things' a collaboration thing? It sounds so familiar... Well... I have not collaborated with Ulrich alot, but I had the chance remixing NeverChanger for the EP and remixing a Dead Leaf Echo-track that Ulrich played synths for. So there's the connection. Anyway, thought you might be interested in my collaborative project with Ryan from A Shoreline Dream. I believe it has this Ulrich feeling.
Ulrich Schnauss and Jonas Munk talk about their new record on Pedigree Cuts. The record was writen in between Jonas's place in Danemark and Ulrich's London studio. The album is due for release spring 2010. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kk552H2SUKY
More info and three further tracks: http://blog.pedigreecuts.com/?p=44
"no plans to release this record commercially at this stage. It will be released exclusively to our affiliate agents worldwide in May for use at their discretion. Sorry to disappoint." (http://blog.pedigreecuts.com/?p=44)
So if anyone is holding his hands on this record -> don't tell noone!!!

That's about as much good as a chocolate teapot. Get with the programme Lads
New mix by Ulrich Schnauss & Kirsty Hawkshaw: http://redbullmusicacademyradio.com/shows/2810/
Features a few tracks from their upcoming collaborative album, and 2 tracks from Ulrich's next album ("Ten Years" and "Her & The Sea")
Ulrich Schnauss talks about the Air Statement and file sharing (hint: he's signed the statement, and is thus strongly against file sharing and pro three strikes laws).
I wanna add my 2 euro cents here - I don't know how well (or badly) Goodbye and remasters have sold compared to his previous efforts, but Ulrich can't lay all of the blame on file sharing. At least part of the problem was that the european record label was complete rubbish, and there was basically no promotion whatsoever. Ulrich has simply made a bad choice in Independiente (again, I'm not sure if there was much of a choice, but still) - they clearly didn't care about his music. We all want to persuade the world that he's wonderful, but there's only so much fans can do.
