I've just seen this: "Brixton Academy – Under 14 years must be accompanied by an adult and seated in the circle"
I always thought Brixton was strictly 18 years and over as I remember discussions years ago with Johnny Embryo's younger brother worrying about not getting in to a gig. Would love to bring my (15 yr old) son so he could see them live...

It does say on Pre-Sale page "Brixton Academy: Circle (For Those Bringing Under 14s)" so it appears times have changed at the Academy at last! You might want to give Brixton Academy a call if you want double double double double check but i think it's good to go for the younglins!

I believe tomorrow there will be an allocation of tickets for pre-sale only on this website. Friday there will be more for sale elsewhere. That's how i understand it works... As always buy early to avoid disappointment

I got 2 tix for Thursday for me and the boy...this will be a new experience!!! I have bought the standing ones as he will be 15 then and anyway he towers over me and looks about 18!

Not at See Tickets, it's not... (Not that I'd ever endorse them as a great place to buy tickets from, mind -- they're a bit hefty on the booking fees compared to other agencies).

I got an e-mail from SeeTickets today telling of a delay in my ticket for Manchester. Said they haven't received it yet.

While I'm at it, when I was buying that ticket it was on the site as being at Manchester University rather than the Academy. Please put my mind at rest and tell me they are the same place.

No worries - there's a nice pub basically opposite the venue (can't remember the name, I've only been there once), which will be good for a pre-meetup drink!

That's cool. My brother in law works at the Uni so I can get directions from him if stuck.

That's a great venue actually, I saw Ben Folds Five there a number of times in the late 90s. The room isn't huge so it will be a packed out sweaty one where you might as well be up the front cos everywhere else is the same! Was always cheap beer there!
