Support Acts for Brixton/Manchester
Ok, so times moved on since we all last got a chance to see our favourite boys.
So has the music.
I was laying in bed last night wandering who I would like to see play with Orbital...
I'm making a big assumption (in my fantasy) that at least the Brixton one could be a 2am'er. I was also thinking of one other live act and 2 DJs, a bit like '04.
After much deliberation (and annoyance at the baby upstairs screaming at a rediculously painful frequency), I decided what support acts would further broaden my smile. Unfortunately I invested too much time, passion and excitement about the prospect of another Orbital gig and what goodies will be contained in those nights, so inevitabley I got up and made my self a cuppa and watched News 24 until I got bored rigid of listening to American politics...
So...
7.30-8.45 Justice (live)
8.45-9.30 Justin Robertson
9.30-11.30 Orbital (live)
11.30-2.00 Trentemoller
I'd also love Beardy Man to be the compere as he was one of the finest acts I've seen in years when I saw him at Bestival last year, if you havent seen him, check him out on youtube.
Any feelings out there about who you'd like to see play with Orbital?

Re: Support Acts for Brixton/Manchester
Trentemoller's a good call.
Tom Middleton or Fred Deakin with some cool eclecticism.
James Holden to finish up after the main act.

Re: Support Acts for Brixton/Manchester
Tribal Gathering '95... Yeah I had to work in a beer tent while Orbital were on. That was hard. A great festival I remember. I also remember ODing on Red Bull as the event was sponsored by Redbull so any "staff" could drink it for free.
I have never touched the stuff since.
That was the year that some guy got up on stage and twatted Keith Flint, that was interesting!
