If this is their only gig, I'm soooooooo coming to Big Chill next year! If, on the other hand, they play some other gigs, I'll try to pick the most opportune one for me and my plans. Normally, Summer of '09 and I usually buy a ticket in April...

However, in this case I shall be buying a ticket tomorrow, because I'd be banging my head on the wall if they sold out... And remember, it's only about a 30,000 capacity at the Big Chill Festival...

Oh, and we've not had confirmation that it's a full Orbital reform - i.e. they could just be doing the one gig and spending the rest of their time on their solo projects...

At this moment £129 is equal to €154 so is quite good value.

Yea, thanks for the tip. I'll definitely book in January, latest, because I don't have any extra money right now (it's Christmas season, alright?). Don't think they'd sell out THAT soon, although maybe they'll attract more attention this year because Orbital (exclusive or not) is obviously a big catch. But if you can scare me into believing that they'll soon run out, I'll act swiftly!

Well, we're getting conflicting messages here... Pete Tong mentioned other gigs but no times, dates, locations etc. were given, however if you read the little write up on the Big Chill site about Orbital, it very much appears that this will be a one off gig, which coincides with the 20th anniversary of them forming etc.

So, until we get more info from an official source, I'd say that The Big Chill will be their only performance this year.

I feel really sorry for any other artist on the Saturday night there, they'll be performing to grass...

This thread has to be some of the best news I've had all year. (It hasn't been a good year)

I'm putting together plans now.

I got screwed by the wonderful US court system out of a chance to go the the goodbye shows. There's NO WAY I'm missing this.

Right now I'll plan for the Big Chill & will put a deposit down on tickets next weekend.
