Harsh Times - By the guy who did Training Day. With Christian Bale. Twas good.
Doom - Funny, especially towards the end where its shot like a FPS.
Number 23 - Very good.
Clerks 2 - Didnt think I would like it but it was very funny.

It's 106 miles to Chicago.
We got a full tank of gas,
half a pack of cigarettes.
It's dark and we are wearing sunglasses

Last night we watched Man on Fire with good ole Denzel. Was my first DVD through from my Lovefilm 3month free trial!
SPOILER AHEAD (don't read if you haven't seen it)

Great film - sad ending although I've just been reading the IMDB message boards, apparently Creasy lives in the original 1987 film and in the books it came from! (altho the girl is raped and dies which is a lot worse
)
Great acting, particulary Denzel and more impressively the little girl (Dakota Fanning). Christopher Walken can do no wrong either. Not so sure about Mickey Rourke, can't beleive I used to lust after that guy - he looks like he's had way too much plastic surgery

Are you absolutely sure it was Denzel this time Dolly? I want to see that movie
Havent really watched many movies recently. I have been watching loads of shark stuff on Discovery, I am addicted to Everbody Loves Raymond and American Chopper... which all rotate heavily if you have Sky...oh I watched a great Guns N Roses biography too.

Watched "Dead Mans Shoes" again over the weekend on Film Four. An absolutely brilliant film. Paddy Consadine is the man.

Re: What's The Last Film You Watched?
oops I forgot, I also finally watched the Constant Gardener. Bit of let down really as I had high hopes, it being from the same guy who did City of God. Not a patch on that, very different, but was good in it's own way though. Ralph Fienes is just such a LUVVIE! Rachel Weisz was quite impressive.

Re: What's The Last Film You Watched?
I thought the Constant Gardener was quite poo really. Long and drawn out with little tension and I never really felt anything for the characters.

Re: What's The Last Film You Watched?
Constant Gardener did nothing for me neither. Maybe a second viewing might help.
On ze plane i watched "Juno" which i thought was sh!te. A lot of people rated this but really couldnt see what the big deal was about.
