What Are You Listening To Now?

The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Oasis - 'Keep The Dream Alive'

Best track on the new album. Glad they've at least attempted to sound like 'Revolver' instead of just trying to be 'Definitely Maybe' all the time.

I lost interest years ago....
They just seem to be treading water imo. If only Noel had half the talent and balls to try something different a la Albarn...

NP (well its in the car) Doves- Pounding... one of those tunes I am quite happy screaming my arse off to while driving alone...
I was so into it I swallowed my gum

Actually while I'm here, did anybody catch Mylos cover of "Sweet Child of Mine" on Radio one at around lunch time? One of the girls from Bent did the vocals.

He said it was a cover of a cover....He mentioned that he had been touring with Bent and that *I think* he heard the version Katty did and, well, thought he'd have a go.

It's actually by Flat Pack and yes, Katty (the vocalist with Bent) has done the vocals. It's signed to Breastfed (Mylo's label, now owned by Sony)... I don't think Mylo's done a cover, just signed it to his label.

Was listening to the 'In My Arms' single, but had to turn it off because ALL the mixes on there are shite!
