The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.
Eargasm at Fabric is but 3 weeks away and personally i cant wait to indulge myself in a night of some of my current fav dj's and live acts to put a hard week of work behind me...!
Having not seen Mr Hartnoll Dj before does anyone know what i can expect from his set? I am seriously hoping to hear a few Orbital tunes dropped in at some point...just for good measure!
"You know, just simple lines intertwining, you know, very much like - I'm really influenced by Mozart and Bach, and it's sort of in between those, really. It's like a Mach piece, really"

oh you will. haven't seen him in a while, but his tune selection really is top notch, and i know the first time i saw him he sprinkled the odd orbital number through his set - including a live version of halcyon - then finished with chime & doctor who - complete with torch specs
Big tingle reading that... I have a feeling its going to be a great night!

i (and several others) also got to try on his torch specs when he'd finished playing!
got a mate to take a photo of me with my phone, didn't cross my very drunk mind the effect of pointing two torches at a camera. great photo ...

I am totally addicted to this place... have only been for the "Fabric live" stuff on Fridays but I love it!! Spent last New Years there and generally gone to most of the breakbeat orientated nights this year.
I love the venue, the soundsystem kicks arse and the punters are friendly
It would be great to meet you Aimee and I reckon the drinks are on me as without your help I would not be going to Glastonbury
I'm sure Willsy will be up for this too
Have never known him to turn down a night at Fabric
I don't know you people...why are you here? MEMS MUZAK

True...as you know, i was thinking about going to the one on the 3rd on my own (all the way up from Hampshire) until you came to your senses and decided it would be a bad idea to miss it/let me go it alone!!!
God knows how i am going to help you catch up with you revision on Saturday though!!!
Aimee i look forward to you joining the collective on the 17th...you will not be disappointed.

Ok so if you had to pick one tune for him to play for you at Fabric on the 3rd which one would you choose?
I think i would have to go with - Satan...

Argh, I'm another one blessed with exams around the 3rd of June, so I don't think there's any way I'll be able to make it seeing as I don't live in London either.
It does look like possibly one of the most tasty lineups I can think of from my point of view and all for £10/12?! Can only hope there's a small chance some of the acts like Infusion and Phil, and lee coombs for that matter, might get added to the glasto lineup as I'll be there. Bleh, curses. You lucky people!
