The Hex
Some people don't get the Transformers. It's simple. They're big robots. And they change into things. And they fight. This is beautiful and mad. If you do not get this, there is something missing in your soul. - Paul O'Brien

Well I agree with taxi, Dr Who and Hill Street Blues...
I'd probably put Taxi top, even.
Problem with this is your not very likely to like the theme tune of a programme that you don't like and therefore don't watch...
having said that, I'd add:
The Sopranos
Trailer Park Boys
Batman
Scooby Doo
The Magic Roundabout
Jamie and His Magic Torch
see - this is getting silly now...
Slugs! HE created slugs! They can't hear. They can't speak. They can't operate machinery. Are we not in the hands of a lunatic?

ALL TOGETHER NOW...
Neighbours, Everybody needs good neighbours
With a little understanding
You can find the perfect blend
Neighbours...should be there for one another
That's when good neighbours become good friends
Ooh Neighbours, should be there for one another
That's when good neighbours become good friends
Damn classic, FFS.

Aaaaagh! I used to live with someone who was
obsessed with that bloody show... I'm now having flashbacks of the Freak!
There's a few good TV sport theme choons out there as well -
Grandstand
BBC Cricket (Booker T and the MGs!)
Match of the Day
Pot Black (oops, I was on a roll until then...)

Ah yes, The Journey of the Sorcerer, the only decent Eagles tune ever. The original is certainly a little more country but the banjo is great.

Autopsy - The theme to Six Feet Under
Theme to Beavis and Butthead - cheesy but great blues
When the grand prix was on bbc1 they used that Fleetwood Mac track "The Chain". Used to go silly at that guitar rift.
You look real great.
In bloodstains.
