Your Life - The pro's & con's

Taking history as a whole, we're all in a very tiny slice of it, so what are you're pro's & con's on the slice of time that you occupy?

My starters are (in no particular order):-

Pro's,
Communication sytems, I lived in a world where Concorde was in the sky, I knew a world without speed cameras, I knew a world without rap music, I viewed the "shake & vac" & "for mash get smashed" ads for real, the troubles in Ireland came to a proper end, PINK FLOYD - Nuff said!, Phil'n'Dog, Formula 1 existed & I drove one, saw Tiswas the first time round, man explored space, the national treasure that is Stven Fry shares the same slice of time with me, Jeremy Clarkson is still a legal commodity.


Con's,
Blair - Nuff said, vapid celebrity interest(e.g. Jade Goody & other similar bints), nuclear presence, the Nanny state (which makes me mention the tosser that is Prescott), too much regulation, Sadaam Hussein, Part-P, "Service" is a forgotten word, you get a GCSE if you can write your own name with no more than 5 spelling mistakes, terrorism, Gordon Brown.
