The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.
Is this really from the horses mouth or just DavidAC's tenuous stab in the dark... I cant think of anything better, but I think its a bridge too far... Maybe it is and he's a real football head but I cant see it. I'm going right off Bola!
Mashed Potatoes? Why do hate mashed potatoes? (It's a hoax, I don't really hate them)
Wow, I am really impressed with Gnayse. I've been reading some reviews that absolutely knock the hell out of it. Either I am missing the bad or everyone else is missing the good. I think its incredibly melancholy and that might just be it--it's too slow and "depressed". I really like that, though.

Spot on Orbyss. Gnayse is very emotional in my opinion. Perhaps I like melancholy more than the average person, but Bola's albums all have that special touch. Me being a very recent Bola fan inductee, I have to say, the albums all complement each other very well. I say bravo for multi movement tracks (Forcasa and Pfane) which this world needs more of....

I definitely feel this way, too. They're all similar, but not to the point of monotony. Soup has a "raw" feeling to it, though, and the latter all have a more polished feel. But they are all uniquely Bola, in my opinion.
perhaps there is something of a transatlantic-Bola-divide here...?
Actually it seems that way. I wonder what it is? And am I prepared to hear the theories? (Oh no)

As I have lived under a large rock for the last *@^& years I had never heard of Bola. Got 'Soup t'other day.
This is just my cup of tea. Haven't taken it out of the player yet.
