The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

Okey dokey, quick question for those that have both versions of the Midnight CD single (i.e. FCD 163 and LIECD 25).
Apparently, FCD 163 has the Sasha Remix of Midnight - 7:22, and LIECD 25 has the 12" mix of Midnight - 6:40(ish).
Can everyone who has both/either of the above, check the timings? The Sasha remix *isn't* credited as such on the cover/CD!
Unfortunately, my copy of FCD 163 won't play, so I can't check it...

had it for a year and never noticed
It's 106 miles to Chicago.
We got a full tank of gas,

There probably *IS* still that elusive CD single (FXCD 163) that has the Sasha remix of Midnight *AND* the Eye and Eye mix of Choice on it - never seen that at all!

Blimey, so for all this time, the elusive Sasha remix (on CD) has been on FCD 163???
If only I'd realised this before!

I just heard from another dutch guy..
he has the FCD136 as well
And that one too has the sasha mix.
Seems like the label made a fuck up...
Other guy has the LIEcd and has the normal midnight.
All this time, right in front of our eyes..
hiding in plain sight.
It's 106 miles to Chicago.
We got a full tank of gas,
half a pack of cigarettes.

Tell me about it, if I'd had a working FCD163, I'd have realised sooner - unfortunately, mine's knackered....

What's worse is the fact that I sold a spare copy of FCD163 on ebay just over a year ago!
And I still didn't realise!

Well
technically it isn't the remix single
Now if it also included the Eye & i mix, then we're talking.
But we found the sasha remix at last.
But makes you wonder.
If the remix single is out there. and the normal one has the sasha remix, will the remix single have the normal orbital mix?
Still. I'd like to see some proof
