When I read this thread I thought it was going to be about Freecycle for some reason (http://www.freecycle.org/)
For those that don't know this is an idea that was started in Arzion and has grown worldwide. The idea is rather than chucking stuff out, you post it on freecycle (as well as your wants) and others get a chance to reuse your discarded stuff.
I recently joined my borough's freecycle group and so far have got some interesting books and a lovely new ikea dining table 8)
I don't use Myspace anymore, you'll find me on Facebook ;-b

yeah freecycle is good. i first heard of it in dj mag where they described it as "the new ebay (sort of)" :lol:

i've had a freeview box and a bed off it :D

I've got rid of a few things on Freecycle, most useful, and feels like you're doing more good than just taking stuff to the tip.

Still no-one wants old CRT monitors though!
Haikus are easy
