The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.

I am curently eating a lancashire hotpot and thinkinf of a recent dogging session
oh the cries of passion with such dullset tones chiming round
sidenote you guys got any plans of playing with a.P.A.t.T ??
We are glad you're enjoying your Hotpot, we love them to bits and the public seems to as well.
There are no plans for a gig with a.P.A.t.T as far as I know, however a promoter did get in touch with us earlier this week as he might get the Hotpots on the same bill as The Houghton Weavers who the Hotpots are a direct pisstake of, so that gig may be interesting.
Can't believe I'm about to admit this, but I think that any credibility I have on here might be only in my own imagination anyway, so here goes.
I used to be a huge Houghton Weavers fan.
Living in the North West they were pretty much everywhere throughout the late 70s and early 80s. I have pictures of myself with various band members and my mother still has 2 signed albums with 'To Richard....' on the inside.
Therefore I must investigate the Hotpots. I think a lot of it will make sense to me!
...
Bring it on then...
Rich
[Edit] I should mention that I was about 7 or 8 at the time...!
Haikus are easy
But sometimes they don't make sense

heaven help us, the Hotpots are taking over our lives. The public love 'em so we're halfway through doing an album. The first new track since christmas is now up there. If the words 'Chippy Tea' mean something to you then you'll probably enjoy the song
right, just a quick plug (these things need to be done) to say that Never Mind The Hotpots the debut album from The Lancashire Hotpots is now available from th'iTunes
the Hotpots got their first play on Radio 1 last night on Colin Murrays show. The good fella played 'He's Turned Emo', click here to have a listen (or check the Hotpots Myspace as its now on there)
