What would it take 2get Orbital Glasto DVD finally released?
Now i don't think I'm the only one here (and i want the rest of you to make your voices heard in this thread if you agree please) that would like to know exactly what is happening to the now defunct "Orbital Glastonbury Compilation DVD"?
This DVD was really something that would've been great to have as a reminder of how amazing orbital were live and also a great Glastonbury film too. It really was quite gutting to hear that the original company putting it out went bankrupt!
So, would it be possible to clear up some questions?
1: Was the project actually finished? (i.e. is the DVD complete and ready to go?)
2: Or was the DVD not finished being edited?
3: Does it just need a distributor?
4: Is it just a question of money? If so how much?
5: Would there be an online alternative to obtaining this selling it to the fans or something like that?
6: What would it take for the DVD to get released?
Steve if you can answer any of these questions (or get them to people who might be able to answer them) I'm sure a lot of people would be interested in an update.
And for the rest of you out there who also want this to see the light of day and have any suggestions, comments or questions then please add them to this thread.

I'm not incensed Stylus, just disappointed that it may not see the light of day.
It'd be good to know exactly what stage it was at too. Whether it had been finished editing or if even that hadn't been completed.
Wondering about the rights issue that Dog brought up, i thought that all the Glasto stuff was all the property of Michael Eavis and Glastonbury? Even the tv stuff or does the BBC (and Channel 4 to a lesser extent) have any say in the material they helped record and broadcast originally?

You listen to too many rumours and have too many friends who say they are in the knowDog wrote:I've heard that the tracklisting was chosen, I was given that by the person who compiled it, but apparently there have been issues with rights etc.
