The Music Discussion forum has replaced the old Lyrics and Samples forum and the Live Scene and Music Reviews forum. This forum is used to discuss anything relating to Music including Orbital topics, the live scene including Orbital gigs past, present and future. This section is an ideal place to post your live gigs reviews and album / single reviews. This forum can also be used to discuss Orbital lyrics and samples. The website will never disclose or confirm samples for legal reasons - so this is the next best thing.
Heh, just learned that my friend is an old roommate of Lassi Nikko (from Brothomstates). I also saw a good gig by the famous jazz/hiphop-band US3 (http://www.us3.com/) and then met them in a restaurant and taught them a matchstick-trick that none of them could solve...
What an odd but cool day.
Sorry if this isn't worthy of it's own thread, but I've had a bit to drink so I'm excused.
Okay, u asked for this:
(I quickly draw this in paint. )
Each line represents one matchstick and you're only allowed to move two of them (notice: move, not remove). The idea is to change the five squares into four squares. Each one of the squares has to be the same size as the original ones, be the same way around as the original ones (as in not inclining) and they all have to touch each other (either from the side or from the corner). There can't be anything else, but four complete squares (as in no leftover sticks). The fun things is, that there's no "trick" here. You just have to think about it really hard...
If you've seen this before, don't tell the others.

I'm trying hard kvagga!! I know which 2 to move but cant figure out where to move them to. Are you sure you've drawn it right and written the instructions right!?
Nope - I'm going to bed.
Mashed Potatoes? Why do hate mashed potatoes? (It's a hoax, I don't really hate them)
