I went to this with fingers crossed as to it's content, but I needn't have worried. This has enough of the book in it to keep the long time fan satisfied but it has changed enough to keep you wondering what will happen next.
If you have no preconceptions going to it you should enjoy it. Some laugh out loud moments but mainly it is a gentle funny all the way through.
They also kept the orginal theme tune in it too. It is still the only Eagles track I like

Glad to hear it's OK. I read that the only weak link is Zaphod, who doesn't really connect with the rest of the cast. Still - looking forward to it though.

The problem with playing a convincing egotist is your character is not supposed to connect with anyone but yourself. Having said that he is still the weakest part of the filmeven if he is mildly entertaining. Everyone else is well cast particularly 'the Book' and Slartibartfast
