Hampshire UK idm/electronicaheadz: artists and fans

Sup yo?

Okays I know my first message is kinda a bit impersonal and spammy but I might as well get straight to the point.

So I'm wondering if there are any Hampshire, UK electro/electronic/idm headz: artists or fans in the house! I'm planning on doing something and just wanted to hook up with any local idm/electronica/breaks headz.

i'm from hampshire (hayling island) and visit occasionally, but live in nottingham now. good luck with it tho, be good to see some more decent stuff there

I personally hate the term. I much preferred the term 'electronica'.

personally i hate "electronica" even more

seem to remember it started off as a media-invented phrase to bundle together people like the prodigy, underworld, the chemical brothers, orbital to market them to america - because they all fit so neatly together in one genre

tho i gather these days that it's used to refer to a more specific style - i don't even know what but i'm still never gonna like the word itself
