Sweet. I was very apprehensive about X-Men 3. I've been a HUGE fan of the comic from the age of 7, and I'd be hearing a lot of shit about this movie.
However, some recent reviews have left me optimistic, and I'm seeing it tonight with 7 friends. I can't wait.
So last film I watched? I'm watching X-Men 2 now. Third best superhero movie ever (after Spider-Man 2 and Batman Begins)!

Some people don't get the Transformers. It's simple. They're big robots. And they change into things. And they fight. This is beautiful and mad. If you do not get this, there is something missing in your soul. - Paul O'Brien

recently, in this order, i have seen:
Brick - utterly brilliant film noir. funny, clever, and i'm thinking of catching it again when i get the chance (partly because i didn't understand it all the first time).
The Hills Have Eyes - never saw the origional, but i really enjoyed this version as it was so stupid it made me laugh.
Hostel - ummm, i just didn't get this one. it was well done and everything, but i just didn't quite see the point.
Transamerica - *coughs*. some of it was corny, some of it was dumb and some of it was funny. i enjoyed it, in all.
i'm looking forward to catching X3 when i get the chance.

nearly saw brick recently, sounded quite interesting. i didn't realise at the time that it has that blonde girl out of lost in it, definitely would have seen it in that casekazeo wrote:Brick - utterly brilliant film noir. funny, clever, and i'm thinking of catching it again when i get the chance (partly because i didn't understand it all the first time).

Really? I'm glad to hear this as i am a massive fan of the first two (due to my love of performance cars) and was very sceptical to say the least when i saw the trailer for this one...i have actually been ignoring them.Dog wrote:'The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift'. Amazing film, SO much better than the first two, very slick, very polished and some incredible Japanese hardware.
Deffo a DVD purchase!
Will check this out now.

Theres a well hinted surprise at the end too... Personally, I think this is the strongest film of the three and nice to see them finally catching onto the drift scene.Willsy wrote:Really?
